We are Leiden SCA.
A student-run creative agency, based in Leiden and The Hague. Our team is made up of Leiden University students working with organisations that need photography, video, design, and strategic communications.
Our mission
Leiden SCA exists to bridge the gap between talented student creatives and the clients who need them. Skilled students often struggle to find meaningful creative work, while student organisations often cannot afford professional rates at all.
We solve both problems at once. Students get real-world experience and published credits that build the portfolio needed for paid work. For many student organisations and events, we take on projects with no fee expected. For businesses and institutions with budget, we work at rates well below what agencies charge. Whether it is a photo shoot at your event or a three-month content roadmap, everything is handled through a platform that makes delivery, licensing, and payment straightforward.
We are privacy-forward by design. The photos, videos, and design files we deliver to clients are stored in European data centres only, and we handle every project with GDPR/AVG compliance baked in from the start.

A client needs creative work or advice
Student organisations, event organisers, businesses, and institutions tell us what they need: photography, video, design, or strategic consulting.

We match with a creative
We connect the brief to a student in our network whose skills and availability fit the project.

The creative delivers
Files are uploaded to our secure platform. The client reviews, approves, and downloads from a private gallery.

Everything is licensed
Each deliverable carries a clear license. Clients know exactly what they can and can't do with the work.

Data and privacy
Leiden SCA is responsible for all personal data processed through the platform. The photos, videos, and design files we deliver to clients are stored in European data centres and never leave EU infrastructure.
