Summary
LSCA does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Our analytics tool (Plausible) is fully cookieless and does not collect or store any personal data. We therefore do not display a cookie consent banner on this site — none is required under the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet) or ePrivacy Directive for our current setup.
Analytics — Plausible
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Plausible is an open-source, privacy-friendly analytics platform:
- —No cookies are set. Nothing is stored in your browser.
- —No personal data or device fingerprints are collected.
- —Your IP address is never stored or logged.
- —Data is processed in the EU only.
- —Plausible is not shared with third-party advertisers.
You can verify this by inspecting network requests on this page — you will not see any tracking pixels, advertising tags, or third-party cookie calls.
Strictly necessary cookies
When you use the LSCA portal, strictly necessary session cookies are used to maintain your login state. These cookies:
- —Are set only on authenticated pages, not on the public brand site
- —Are deleted when you log out or close your browser session
- —Do not track behaviour across sites
- —Are exempt from consent requirements under ePrivacy rules
The public website (leidensca.nl) sets no cookies of any kind.
No third-party tracking
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any other third-party advertising or tracking technology. We do not use social media “Like” or share buttons that set third-party cookies.
